What is this scholarship?
The UCL Global Undergraduate Scholarship is awarded by University College
London (UCL) to support international students from lower-income backgrounds
who want to pursue a full-time undergraduate degree at UCL.
Itʼs designed to make UCL more accessible for talented students who might not
otherwise afford to study in London.

Who is eligible?
You must meet all of the following:

Be classified as an overseas fee-paying student (not a UK resident).

Come from a household with limited financial resources — usually below a
certain annual income threshold (exact figure is updated yearly).

Have applied to UCL for a full-time undergraduate degree starting in
September 2025 (or relevant intake year).

Not already be studying in the UK on a undergraduate degree.

What does the scholarship cover?
There are two levels of awards:
1. Full Award – covers tuition fees and provides a maintenance allowance for living
costs.
2. Partial Award – covers part of the tuition fees only.
